As you’re probably well aware, Google has been overridden with spam for a while lately. It seems some guy from Moldova created a script on his ad-laden site that caused the server to generate billions of subdomains upon being visited by a google-bot. Since Google treats sub-domains as regular domains (something that shouldn’t change because of this, more on that below), the pages got indexed fully. Google is currently in the process of cleaning up the wreckage.

Well, the blog’s almost completed…I guess I should talk about what to expect here, eh?
As the title suggests, this is my blog. That doesn’t mean much without at least a brief introduction, does it? Ok, so we’ll start there…
My name is George Gumpert, and I’m a soon graduating Graphic Design Major. I lead a pretty dull life, hence me actually having time to keep a blog. Most of my time is consumed by projects (which, incidentally, will be tracked here).
Some other things to expect from this blog:
- News, News, News!
- Tutorials for Photoshop, 3D Studio MAX, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and so on and so forth
- Articles on design principles and theory
- My own personal views on design, and how good design integrates itself into society…and vice verca
- Book Reviews, Site Reviews, etc.
- Rants…I’m sure.
What you won’t find here:
- Angsty “nobody loves me” BS…there’s enough of that on the net, and i’m quite guilty of putting that into my other, personal blogs.
- Pretty much any allusions to my personal life, save for how they relate to the subject at hand. In the future, I may post links to my personal blogs hosted elsewhere, but I doubt it.
So sit back and relax, while I try to figure out this “b2evolution” thing…more will be coming soon!
