Unfortunately, I don&#039;t believe Time Machine is built for that kind of functionality.  It&#039;s made to be a complete system backup/restore program, but it allows exceptions.

The only way I know of to do what you&#039;re looking to do is to exclude every folder EXCEPT the ones you want to backup.

Otherwise, you could try using crontab, which is a UNIX tool, and therefore an OS X tool.
