You're correct, psdtuts.com is much better. And this skin did borrow very heavily from it.

Listen, this is a very low traffic blog. If you notice, the last post I made was over 3 months ago. I won't deny using PSD Tuts as the basis for this site. I visit the site daily, and learn a lot from it- it truly is a fantastic site. The fact that the skin borrows from PSDTuts is no coincidence. It was done intentionally, not for the purposes of ripping off, but for the purposes of reverse engineering, to learn how it was made to further my HTML/CSS and Wordpress skinning skills. It was a high enough bar to shoot for.

If my goal was to "rip off" of your site, I would scrape your content and post it under my name (something many people do with your content). If I was trying to gain from it, I would try to sell the skin. I have done neither.

You can rest assured that I am actively building a new skin for this blog, and am set to launch it soon.

But please, do not call a skin recreation a site rip. Not a single post of any of your contributors over at PSDTuts has been copied here. However, if you are still upset with it, I will swap out the header for something else.

In the meantime, I will be providing a linkback to your site in my sidebar. If you would like to discuss this further, feel free to email me.
